California Child Care Economic Impact Studies

Child care advocates across California and the nation have, since 1997, conducted economic impact studies to quantify the contributions the child care industry makes to a county’s or state’s economy. The goal of these efforts is to broaden public support, engage new partners, and develop innovative financing solutions for the child care sector.
