The $1.75 trillion social spending package containing much of the Biden Administration’s economic agenda, also known as the Build Back Better (BBB) Act (H.R. 5376), could be voted on in the House of Representatives this week (November 15-19).

Build Back Better: Invest in Child Care Facilities

Democrats are slashing the reconciliation bill from $3.5 trillion to up to $2 trillion to reach an agreement. We are very concerned about the fate of the requested $450 Billion investment in child care, including the proposed childcare facilities investments.

Leadership Drives $250MM in Child Care Facilities

Last month, California Governor Gavin Newson signed the 2021-22 state budget deal, including $250 million for the Child Care and Development Infrastructure Grant Program! A big thank you to our organizational partners who participated in the  #BuildChildCare4CA campaign, especially the providers who spoke about the need for quality child care facilities at every opportunity.
