September 08, 2022 marked the wage gap for how far into the year mothers must work to earn what fathers did last year alone. American mothers bring in 40 percent or more of their families’ income. This means that the wage gap impacts their entire households which rely heavily on their wages to make ends meet and build economic stability.

In April, we are mid-way through the budget season and as a reminder, the Governor’s proposed 2022-23 State Budget does not include funding for Early Care and Education Education (ECE) facilities’ infrastructure.
