Infrastructure Grant Program (IGP)

The Child Care & Development Infrastructure Grant Program (IGP) is a grant program administered by the California Department of Social Services in partnership with the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF).

Grants are awarded to eligible child care providers, both centers and family-based, to improve the quality and expand the capacity of their facilities. All current funding, a total of $300.5 million, has been allocated.

While this program has positively impacted many child care providers, families and young children, there is still a great need to secure more early care and education facilities funding to expand the benefits to more providers.
