Build Up Riverside County

A partnership between First 5 Riverside County, LIIF (Low Income Investment Fund), and Lift to Rise.

Build Up Riverside County’s goal is to create and improve the county’s early care and education facilities by preparing operators to complete infrastructure projects, leveraging the expertise of community development partners, and building local government capacity to support ECE facilities by streamlining funding and developing supporting policy.

Build Up Riverside County leverages expertise from community development partners and builds capacity in local government to streamline funding and policies supportive of early care and education (ECE) facilities.

For child care operators, developers and others who are interested in increasing the number of child care spaces in the county, we offer resources and technical assistance to make it happen, by bringing our expertise in the co-location of child care and housing.

We have developed tools to track child care projects in our development pipeline, and map the progress in our Riverside County Child Care Facilities Pipeline Map.
